Our School Counselor, Mrs. Wells

Our School Counselor, Mrs. Wells

Hello Families of St. Michael School,
My name is Mrs. Katie Wells and I am the part time school counselor at St. Michael School. I have decided to create this page as a way to try to stay better connected with you during this different and unexpected time for our schools, communities, and nation as a whole. My goal as the school counselor is to help all students with any issues that may affect academic, personal, and social growth, health, and happiness. As a school counselor, I promote positive attitudes among students towards themselves, family, peers, and community. I work with parents, teachers, and administrative staff to provide support as needed. I also coordinate student referrals to outside agencies for additional counseling services.

On this page you will find my contact information, office hours, and ways for your child to request to see me. I will continue to expand on this page over time, but if there is anything you need that I have not shared-please let me know.

More than anything at this time, I want you to know that your students are deeply cared for and missed! We love seeing their faces again at school. Right now is a crucial time to make sure we are taking care of ourselves and each other. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or for support for your child at school.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Katie Wells
