Saint Michael is dedicated to the safety of all of our student athletes, and the safety of our competitors.
Our Athletic Director, Mark Bohdan, working in conjunction with our coaches, the coaches and Athletic Directors of our council, the council referees, sports trainers, and physicians we provide a safe, Faith-based athletics program.
Our student athletes complete concussion testing before their athletic season with the help of Sports Brain. In the event of a concussion; our parents, student physicians, school administration, and school nurses monitor student health and adjust academic and physical expectations during the healing process.

Our goal is to make sure that each and every player has a positive experience while still learning the basic fundamentals that will help them succeed at the next level.
The St. Michael Cheerleaders support our Wildcat Teams. Cheerleading is open to all girls in 3rd through 8th grade that attend St. Michael School.
St. Michael Golf is open to 8th grade boys and girls. Team and individual competition takes place on a weekly basis through Southside Catholic Conference.
The St. Michael Soccer Program competes in the Southwest Athletic Conference. The SAC includes Catholic schools from both the southwest side of Chicago as well as the southwest suburbs. The soccer season for both boys and girls begins in mid March and ends the last week of school.

Boy’s Volleyball program is for boys in grades 4th-8th grades. Season begins in March and ends in May. Teams participate in tournaments during the season.
Teams participate in tournaments throughout the season. Skills Clinic is open to 3rd graders. The Clinic will cover physical, technical and tactical areas of the sport of volleyball. The program covers the basic skills (overhand, underhand, attack and serve) and rules of the game.
St. Michael School Cross Country for students entering grades 5th-8th. Its season will begin mid from August through mid October.
