From Preschool through eighth grade, St. Michael School is academically progressive and sound.
Hope
We strive to provide our students with a well-rounded education, balancing all aspects of their studies in an effort to give them a greater understanding of the world around them.
Faith
By maintaining a strong Catholic identity, our children learn to live their faith and to serve others.
Guidance
Our faculty consists of dedicated teachers who average 20 years of experience in Catholic education. Many of these fine individuals hold advanced degrees. All of our teachers participate in continuing education programs to ensure that their skills remain current.
Through a comprehensive range of programs and services, St. Michael School successfully prepares students for the endless challenges that lay ahead. Our mission calls us to teach the message of Jesus, to encourage service to others, and to prepare students for lifelong and responsible citizenship. We are committed to promoting academic excellence through an integrated, contemporary curriculum rooted in Gospel values and taught in a faith community.
St. Michael School is a Christ-centered community that provides a caring environment emphasizing academics, moral values and discipline. Through a comprehensive range of programs and services, St. Michael School successfully prepares students for the endless challenges that lay ahead.
We believe education is a never ending process of growth and challenge. Education enriches the whole person: soul, mind and body. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and together with teachers facilitate the learning process. We believe children learn and succeed in a caring atmosphere where they are given the opportunity to see their own value.
Catholic education strives to reinforce the principles and values of Church, home and community in an effort to mold tomorrow’s citizens. Therefore, we strive to create and to maintain an environment for this growth and challenge
Welcome to the St. Michael School Website. I feel blessed to be the pastor of St. Michael Parish and blessed to have a parish school filled with a dedicated and nurturing staff, generous and engaged parents, and children seeking to learn from our faculty, and seeking to know our Savior Jesus Christ.
St. Michael School strives to be a beacon of hope in our often darkened and confusing world. We educate our students academically, spiritually, physically, and socially. We strive to offer a curriculum that meets the needs of the whole child and fosters an environment of love, respect, and responsibility. We are preparing our students for higher education and for life so that they can make good decisions. St. Michael School provides a high quality education that is anchored in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The mission of the St. Michael School flows from the mission of St. Michael Parish. St. Michael School is a Parish School and not a private school. The center of our lives is the Sunday Eucharist and it is essential that our school families worship together so that we all can live the mission of Christ.
St. Michael Parish was founded in 1867. We have been educating children for many decades Thank you for being a part of this great tradition. Thank you for trusting us to care for and to educate your children. Thank you for being a part of the St. Michael Community.
In Christ’s love,
Fr. Frank
I believe in the importance of Catholic Education. Faith, math, science, language arts, history, liberal arts, technology, and athletics all play a vital role in the development of our children. Catholic education not only provides a strong academic base for our students, but also develops compassion and understanding for one another.
As a father, I realize the trust and collaboration that is needed when sending your child out into the world. Whether to the babysitter, school, or to a friend’s house; it is important that we can be assured our children will be safe, treated fairly, and will be held to the same high expectations that we set for them at home.
I believe that the values we hold as Catholic Parents are instilled in our children through our interactions and experiences with one another. The core values we share at Church and at home are strengthened within Catholic Schools every day. The collaboration between our parent volunteers, our School Board, and our faculty create a warm and inviting community. A community based on faith celebrations, social projects, and social gatherings.
The faculty and staff at St. Michael School work diligently to provide a safe, faith-filled, and challenging community that encourages our children to succeed. Our teachers, parents, and students work together to ensure that our students are provided the opportunities to achieve the high standards that are set before them.
GO WILDCATS,
Paul Smith
