VIRTUES OF 2018

The St. Michael School children are learning about the Virtues in Year III of the cycle.  This year we focus on Charity…and all of the Virtues that connect to Charity.

VIRTUE OF THE MONTH: FORGIVENESS

WAYS TO PRACTICE FORGIVNESS THIS MONTH:

  1. Take it to your journal and just write and write about the situation.

  1. Try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes and empathize with them.

  1.  Send love and light to that person

  1.  Forgive yourself…too!

  1.  Be grateful for what this has taught you.

PRAYER OF THE MONTH

PRAY THE FIFTH SORROWFUL MYSTERY OF THE ROSARY, THE CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH OF OUR LORD.  REFLECT UPON JESUS’ PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO CRUCIFIED AND MOCKED HIM, “FATHER, FORGIVE THEM…” (LUKE 25:34).  ASK OUR LADY TO PRAY FOR YOU, THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE HER SON’S HEART OF LOVE AND FORGIVENESS.

Amen
